JOHNELL WALKER CHARGED IN BOMBING THAT INJURES CHILD

Johnell Walker, 28, is charged with 3 felony counts for detonating a bomb injuring a young girl and starting a fire in an apartment building where he lives at 723 N. Central Ave. 
Johnell Walker, 28, has been charged with 3 felony counts of Arson-Aggravated Arson/Bodily Harm in connection with the bombing at the Austin apartment building in which he lives at 723 North Central Avenue. The blast from a coconut-sized device severely injured a young girl said to be his daughter, and started a fire leaving several families homeless. The bombing resulted from a domestic dispute on February 28 at about 9:00 PM. Walker is in custody and scheduled to appear in court at 5555 West Grand Avenue on March 8.
