LUPE FIASCO FOUNDATION SUPPORTS FEEDING PROGRAMS AT NEW BIRTH CENTER

MID-AUSTIN STEERING COMMITTEE PARTICIPATES IN HEALTH FAIR & READING FESTIVAL

 Sen. Mattie Hunter leads the countdown as hundreds of balloons are launched in remembrance of those who died of HIV & AIDS. The event was the annual Health Fair & Reading Festival at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
 Aniga Howard, 7, Ellamae Robinson, 8, and Alayisia Fullilove, 8, from the Mid-Austin Steering Committee, and Andrea Hopson, 11, participate in the Memory String Project at the Open Book Literacy Village at the Illinois Institute of Technology, sponsored by Sen. Mattie Hunter, the Institute for Positive Living & Chicago Area Project. It was funded by the Illinois Dept. of Public Health.
